Procedure Scheduler – $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Job Status/Hours:  Full time

We are currently offering a $1,000 sign on bonus for a new hire, full-time Procedure Scheduler.

SUMMARY:  The procedure scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients’ procedures, communicating between departments, and answering and directing phone calls.


  1. Receptionist responsibilities:
    1. Greets patients in polite, prompt, and helpful manner. Provides any necessary information.
    2. May perform administrative duties such as faxing, printing. etc.
  2. Scheduling responsibilities:
    1. Appropriately schedule appointments and procedures both over the phone and in person.
    2. Answers telephones, screens phone calls, takes messages and provides information to others as necessary.
  3. Maintains all patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policy.
  4. This position may also be responsible for other scheduling and front office duties in addition to procedure scheduling.


  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting preferably in health care and in front office/scheduling capacity.
  3. Knowledge of Excellian (or Epic) is desired.
  4. Must possess strong customer service and computer skills.
  5. LPN/MA preferred.
  6. Demonstrated strengths in the following competencies:
