MHVI patient Stephen Byboth became the first person in the state to receive the Medtronic Reveal Linq on March 4, 2014. This miniscule medical device, smaller than a AAA battery, was implanted in Mr. Byboth’s chest to evaluate his symptoms of palpitations and near-fainting, which to this day continue to elude diagnosis. It will enable his cardiologists to monitor his heart rhythm continuously, for up to three years.
